SPARTANBURG — Located on 60 acres of woodlands, the city’s Duncan Park provides a variety of outdoor recreational activities. The park is currently commemorating the 100th anniversary of when the land was donated to the city for public use. It’s been a popular destination with a baseball stadium built at the site in 1926. While the park remains among the best-known in the city, work continues to make it a more welcoming space for visitors. (By Chris Lavender, Post And Courier)
