The Mission

The purpose of the PAL Food Hub is to create a sustainable and equitable food system that provides easy and increased access to local, fresh, healthy food.

What is a Food Hub?

Establishing a food hub is one way to strengthen our local food system by offering more locally grown food to more people in Spartanburg. The hub provides a centralized process where buyers can purchase local food from different farmers. For farmers, it provides an additional market and takes the burden of marketing off of them.
